Four days of modeling and four more of texturinga and my very first character is finally here!
After working on several projects in Maya, I wanted to go through the entire ZBrush pipeline. The character was sculpted in ZBrush, the low poly retopology was done in Maya, texturing in Substance Painter, and renders in Arnold. Modeling the whole monkey might have been too ambitious for a first character, so I decided to start with just the head.
Since I don’t have experience with grooming yet, the inspiration came from Cinder - The hairless Chimp!
